塑料餐具厨具有很多,常见的有刀叉、碗、筷、砧板、餐碟、保鲜盒等等,目前部分此类产品使用TPE材料生产制造而成。对此,有许多消费者会产生这样的一个想法:TPE做的塑胶餐具、厨具,是否会对人体有害,与硅胶材质的相比有什么区别。

先回答靠前个问题。TPE是的非标软胶材料,用于生产餐具以及厨具的是食品级材料。食品级材料是需要经过许多测试标准才能用于生产的,比如ROHS、REACH测试、3%醋酸测试、VOC挥发物测试标准以及50%酒精测试。对于这些测试,TPE材料是可以通过的,此外材料加工过程中不添加有毒助剂,不含双酚A等毒性化学物质。

上述说明TPE材料能够用于塑胶厨具餐具的生产,但这里要补充一点的是,TPE制品不能用于耐温120℃以上环境以及接触油性物质。也就是说,烤箱、微波炉是无法用来加热TPE制品的,会引发制品本身材料分子结构的不稳定,也就是分子物质挥发。这样的一个局限性,使得此款材料一般用于砧板、菜盆、筷子、婴儿勺、冰格、铲子等产品。这类产品可以用沸水消毒,无需担心安全问题,不会对人体有害,因此可以放心使用。

接下来回答第二个问题,TPE与硅胶材质相比有什么区别。共同点即是两者都为食品级材料,都能用于厨具餐具的生产。区别点例举如下:

①硅胶是耐高温材料,可耐高温250℃,也就是微波炉能够加热盛放了食品的硅胶容器,这一点TPE暂时无法做到;
